72andSunny Adds Muscle to Continue Expansion
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 18 November, 2009 : - - Los Angeles -- 72andSunny, the marketing partner for worldwide brands such as Nike, Carl's Jr., Hardee's, Discovery Channel, 2K Sports and Quiksilver, announced today that Kelly Schoeffel, PhD. has joined the company as strategy director and Matt Murphy as creative director.
Schoeffel comes from Wieden+Kennedy, Portland, where she recently headed up the strategy team on Target. Working across all 72andSunny clients, including new business, she will lead the development of 72andSunny's growing strategy function. Schoeffel brings experience around social consciousness issues and a PhD. in Social Psychology from Harvard University.

Murphy also comes to 72andSunny from W+K, where he was a senior art director working on Nike and EA. He most recently developed the popular "MVP" campaign for Nike, which made its debut during the 2009 NBA playoffs, starring Kobe Bryant and Lebron James as puppet friends and rivals. Murphy will be tasked with providing creative leadership for all 72andSunny clients in all media.
