110% Surfing TechniquesDVD released to the US market
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 19 November, 2009 : - - Following the huge success of 110% Surfing Techniques as a download movie in the US, Volume 2 is released to the US market this week as a NTSC DVD and download. It is a high performance surf instructional tool, consisting of groundbreaking coaching content with stage by stage manoeuvre breakdowns.
The DVD has been produced by top UK Surf Coach Martin Connolly;
“I was overwhelmed by the reaction and popularity of 110% Surfing Techniques, so with Volume 2 I was determined to raise the bar even more. Taking on board a lot of the feedback, as well as wanting to take the concept to another level, we have created a coaching tool with some epic footage, more detail, and aimed at advanced shortboard surfing.”
“With Volume 1 we covered a broad spectrum of coaching, and the format worked really well. What people will find different about Volume 2 is its emphasis on more advanced manoeuvres, but I still think the way its put together will have broad appeal – everyone will learn something new. We have also experimented with different cameras – filming from the land, board and water, and used slow motion and split screen to demonstrate points. ”
Magicseaweed, the international surf forecast and sales website and long time ambassadors of the DVD’s have been very impressed with the latest instalment;
"Without a doubt THE most in-depth and useful DVD guide to advanced surfing we've seen. It's hard to imagine a shortboarder who wouldn't find something here to improve their game." Magicseaweed.com
“Anyone from frothing grom to stiff old fuddy duddy will step their surfing game up with this DVD” - Surf Europe Magazine
110% Surfing Techniques Volume 2 was filmed in Hawaii, Indonesia, France, the South Pacific and South Devon (England) and features a plethora of exciting surfers from top pros to local rippers.
The DVD is designed to be a comprehensive, easy to use coaching tool consisting of 20 separate sections, where detailed breakdowns demonstrate how to perform turns at the highest level, and key techniques will help you to improve your overall surfing. So if someone is looking to improve their forehand tube rides, take their snaps to the next level, or impress with their off the tops, there is a section to suit everyone.
If you see a good surfing wave, just shoot a free panorama or a 360 to share it with other surfers. It is easy and fun with pixeet and its fisheye lens.
