2009 Soup Bowl Cup

Bodyboard Barbados
Bathsheba, Soup Bowl Barbados
28 - 30 November 2009

The third and final installment of the B3 Series presented by Bodyboard Barbados

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 20 November, 2009 : - - Bodyboard Barbados is proud to announce its participation and involvement with the 2009 Independence Surf Festival presented by the Caribbean Surf Network & The Barbados Surfing Association.

If you are a surf fan this is not an event you want to miss, the top surfers and bodyboarders from Barbados and throughout the Caribbean will take center stage at the famous Soup Bowl for three days of extreme competition!!!

Points leader of the B3 series Paul Larrier, has already made his intentions clear as he plans to make it a clean sweep and secure the title as the 'King of the Bowl' and also the 2009 Champion of the B3 Series. Not to be out done veteran Kwame Griffith, will make his presence felt and is guaranteed to make Larrier's job that much harder.

Fresh from his win at this year's Nationals, Ian 'CrazyMan' Jarvis the 2009 National Bodyboarder Champion is surely going to keep the competition on their toes. Ian is known for his extreme commitment and is also a serious contender for this year's event.

This event is guaranteed to be action packed and should not be missed. For a full schedule of the over all event and weekend activities go to the Barbados Surfing Association's web page at bsasurf.net
