Both show well at the Rip Curl GromSearch

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 29 January, 2010 : - - Wombat managed to pop up to the Cronulla Rip Curl Grom search on Monday and watch Ocean and Earth Groms Sean Mawson u/16, and Jordan Lawler u/14 who had a damn fine crack in the finals. Both Boys finished in second place and just short of an invite into the Grom Search Australian Finals held at Bells Beach during the Rip Curl Pro in Easter.

Matty King managed to bag himself the Triple Bull best overall performance award while the rest of the grom team were ripping but unlucky with wave conditions and interference calls. So now that the groms are all fired up it’s a good thing we are only just over a week away from the 1st stop of the Teenage Rampage (Broulee).

If you’re a grommet living south of the Minnamurra River to the Victoria border you better pull your finger out and get your entry in. Everyone else keep you eye on the website for blogs and photos of the event.
