This  first store comes to the TriNoma Shopping Mall, Manila, Philippines

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 9 February, 2010 : - - Cushe Footwear, the UK based independently thinking footwear brand inspired by boardsports and music, has opened the doors of its very first store in the world in the TriNoma Shopping Mall, Manila, Philippines. It represents an exciting and significant step for Cushe Footwear across the globe and the store is set to be a regular feature on the shopping trail for the fashion-led youth in Manilla. 

Situated right opposite Topshop and a whole multitude of other familiar UK high street brands, we experienced high levels of footfall and with a queue outside on the opening day. Selling a mixture of product across both genders, from sandals to shoes, boots to flip flops, the store is poised to position Cushe Footwear as a premier alternative shoe brand in the competitive Filipino retail environment.

“It’s a cute little store,” says Gifford Chu, President of Shoemaker’s Shop, Inc (Cushe’s Filipino distributor). “The area may only be less than 30 square meters, but it’s irregular and narrow floor space posed a mammoth challenge. We had to figure out how to include all the design elements we were shown during the conference into such a small space.”  
 
After only a week of operations, we are already looking forward to opening the next one at Resorts World; an upmarket mall located a stone’s throw away from Manila International Airport.
