Lipke with Protest, Lacomare & Sanchis turn to Monster
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 16 March, 2010 : - - German surfer Marlon Lipke signs 3-year-deal with Dutch based boardwear brand Protest. 'I am extremely happy', says Marlon. 'I have finally found a brand in Protest, which really suits me and which allows me to fulfill all the projects and dreams, which I always had besides being a competitive surfer.
Protest allow me to get involved in their marketing and we are working closely on various projects, which reach from organizing trips to designing product.”
Stay tuned for the first part of “WEEKEND WARRIORS”, a 4-part FRIDAY 02 web clip series, which will see Marlon travel to out-of-place-destinations around Europe. His first trip took him to Sardinia, Italy, with French surfer Marc Lacomare and Surfing Magazine’s Jeff Flindt and Andrew Lewis.

Benjamin Sanchis signs 2-year-deal with Monster Energy
Benjamin Sanchis from Hossegor, France, free surfer and big wave charger, is the second surfer on the Monster Energy team Europe. Says Sancho: “This is amazing. I’m so stoked. Monster will allow me to further pursue my dream of surfing the craziest and biggest waves on this planet.”

Marc Lacomare signs new 2-year deal with Monster Energy
Current European Pro Junior Champion Marc Lacomare from Hossegor, France, has re-signed with Monster Energy for another two years. “Monster is just the perfect fit,” says Marc. “The first year working with them was great and I’m looking forward to a long relationship with them.”
Frederico Morais re-signs with Billabong; 6th at ISA World Juniors
18 year-old Portuguese surfer Frederico “Kikas” Morais from Cascais, Lisbon recently re-signed with his main sponsor Billabong for an additional three years. Kikas was the highest ranked European in this year’s ISA World Juniors held in New Zealand and is currently in Australia following the Pro Junior tour and doing selected WQS events.
