Amstel Surfilm Festibal 8 rallies top-shelf film entries

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 18 March, 2010 : - - It’s been a month since we launched The Surf Film Contest: we’ve received a handful of clips, not many, but the quality is awesome! And we know that there are many more being filmed, edited, etc. right now. Have a look at our Dailymotion channel as we are sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Remember: if you want to enter your short film, the dateline is the 15 May; check out our website to find out how to make 1500€ in a few easy steps. We are also receiving some very good feature films. Not only that, we are stoked as we will premiere some of most talked-about films of the year, and some of the biggest names of the surf film industry have confirmed that they will be with us.

If you have filmed a surf film (30 min or more), send us a copy before April 15th to enter The Surf Feature Film Contest and take home the 6000€ of the first prize!

We are also working on our art exhibitions, environment event and the Festibaila programme! We’ll soon confirm you the names of the artists that will be with us, as well as the movies and other little surprises that we are working on, but we guarantee you we are going to have a great time!!
