Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 19 March, 2010 : - - The North Shore Soap Factory Pipeline Women's Pro is gearing up for an epic event.  This season contest officials have 14 days to pick the best tube riding potential for both surfing and bodyboarding. Other divisions will be added as time permits.

"I am overjoyed that Banzai Productions is able to bring this event to Women surfers. We are going to have a great time," said Betty Depolito, Contest Director.  Anticipation is high as the season of big waves continues it's late roll on to Oahu's shores.

"It's unreal to be supported by a company like the North Shore Soap Factory." said Depolito. " We are moving forward with our community projects and environmental theme. The factory has been making natural products and caters to the gals so I am psyched. It's a great match."

Entries are starting to come in. First to enter, Keala Kennelly, Hi. and Aoi Koike, Japan. Kennelly is a regular at Pipe these days and Koike is a previous winner in bodyboarding. Both like it big and both like tubes. This year could be the year for true epic Pipe, real Pipe. The Women have been waiting for the chance to drop in with no crowds and yes the serious consequences. Move over boys.

With no international ratings points at steak it will be another interesting mix of Women who just love riding hard core North Shore waves! ASP Hawaii, the Association of Surfing Professionals, is offering up a position in the trials for the Triple Crown. The event will also be a Nationally rated bodyboard tour contest.
