Hobie shapers to demonstrate how their favorite models are created
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 10 August, 2010 : - - San Juan Capistrano -- The Hobie Surfboards mobile shaping bay is returning once again to San Diego for a two day appearance at the Sacred Craft tradeshow. The shaping bay will feature Hobie’s line up of surfboard craftsmen; the legendary Terry Martin, Mickey Munoz, Mark Johnson, Tyler Warren, and possibly a few more surprise shaping guests.
Each shaper will be demonstrating the creation of their favorite models as well as shaping boards for Hobie team rider’s Colin McPhillips, Chuck Patterson, Tyler Warren, and Byron Kurt.
“The shaping bay is a great way for people to experience and meet the craftsmen in their element ” mentions Hobie Surfboard’s shaper and General Manager Mark Johnson ”with Hobie’s rich history you never know who may show up”
