Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 1 September, 2010 : - - After 7 full on weeks packed of good times and great grooves, the Nike 6.0 Roundhouse closed his doors for the summer on the 26th of August with one of it’s most unforgettable weeks.

One of the leaders of the new school, Californian surfer Timmy Curran showed up to premiere of this new flick ‘The Union Express’ throw a private gig and stoke out a few locals by sharing a session at the local break. The third stage of the Nike 6.0 Cash For Tricks took place during the Lacanau Pro and despite an early start and a tight schedule the riders got wild with a truck load of creative and powerful tricks to take home some Euro!

Bowing to the demands of the younger crew, back at the Roundhouse a special after beach party was laid on with the famous We Are Under Age crew scored by Victor and Noemie Sunshine. The next gen crowd showed that they and rock just as hard as the older guys and partied like it was 1999 all over again, regardless of the fact that most of them had just learned to walk back then.

But the best in the way of parties was left to the very end. With bands and DJs laying down beats, lyrics and mayhem for the whole summer, the honor of closing the spot down laid in the capable hands of the global purveyor of champion sound, the one and only Diplo.

Known for his work with M.I.A. Santaogold and his recent Major Lazer project, Diplo smashed the final party and said goodbye to Hossegor for summer 2010.
