Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 1 September, 2010 : - - Family & Friends of Nic Edwards, Surfers, Community Members and Business Leaders.On Tuesday morning the 17th August 2010, the lives of Melissa Edwards and her two young children, Nathan 10yrs and Lucy 2yrs lives changed forever.

Husband and father, Nicholas Edwards lost his life in tragic circumstances whilst surfing his favourite surf break at South Point, Gracetown in WA's southwest. Nic was an adventurous happy go lucky guy who's commitment, passion and love for his wife, his children and his mates was undeniable by those who knew him. He was the kind of guy that lived life to the full, both in his job as a shot firer and also in his passion for surfing.

Without Nic in their lives Melissa and the children face new challenges into the future both emotionally and financially. An opportunity exists to help financially through the Nicholas Edwards Memorial Fund where 100% of all donations will go directly to help support the family both now and into the future.
