There is another area of low pressure located between the Cape Verde Islands and the west coast of Africa that is in a marginally favorable area for development, and some slow development is expected from this system over the next couple of days.
Fiona degenerated into a remnant low as of 11 p.m. Eastern Time Friday. A disturbance in the southern Bay of Campeche has only a small chance of developing as it remains close to the Mexican coast.
