Dragons sign on to be official eyewear sponsor of the 2010 Unsound Pro

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 8 September, 2010 : - -  Dragon has signed on to be the official eyewear sponsor of the 2010 Unsound Pro in Long Beach, New York. The Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Grade-4 Pro Junior marks the first event of the new ASP North America Pro Junior Season.

Balaram Stack (New York, NY), Dragon team rider and local favorite from Long Beach, grew up surfing these waters and can't wait for the event to kick-off in his hometown. "I've been riding for Unsound since I was about 11 and I've been stoked ever since. It's a dream to finally have an ASP JR in my hometown. On top of that, Dragon has stepped up to support the event and give some love in the North East, I'm pumped!" says Balaram. 

"Dragon is fired up to be supporting the Unsound Pro.  It is the best event in the North East and a way to showcase the huge talent pool in the NY area," says Rick Irons Jr., Global Brand Manager, Dragon. With an already active hurricane season, the forecast for swell looks good. The Unsound Pro holds a waiting period from September 8 through 12, 2010 and will be webcast LIVE via unsoundsurf.com and nike6unsoundjrpro.com.
