Joan Duru tears up Tahiti   |  Video

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 10 September, 2010 : - - Joan came down to the contest as a wildcard, and was unlucky in his heat in round 3 against Adriano. The small conditions were definitely a setback for the most part, but Joan made the most of the very ‘Maldive-esque’ reef waves, and a few sessions at the beachbreak on the northern coast. Petit, fun, tricky… Californie ? Non Tahiti cette année pour Joan Duru pendant l’étape WCT de Teahupoo. Joan, qui participe à son deuxième WCT de la saison, espérait des conditions solides avec de l’engagement, des tubes, des souffles, des bouts de peau sur le reef mais il dut se contenter de petites vagues « déchirables » !
