Arnette announces the release of five new unisex frames for Fall 2009. The Alter Ego, Agent, Defy, Snap and Wanted seamlessly fuse the best in contemporary street styling with the hard-charging, action sports lifestyle Arnette is rooted in.

All five frames, along with the rest of Arnette’s fashion-forward product matrix, employ the highest-grade polycarbonate lenses available to block out 100% of harmful UV rays. Many styles are offered with polarized lens options, and all Arnette frames are constructed with either high-luster acetate or lightweight yet durable Grilamid nylon plastic.

Following is an overview of Arnette’s new releases:

Large and in charge, the Alter Ego is a bold style that features oversized lenses, smooth lines and a deep color palette making it a versatile frame for lounging pool-side or cruising city streets. Colors include (frame/lens): Matte Black/Green, Gloss Black/Polarized Grey, Gloss Black/Grey, Matte Brown/Brown Gradient, Brown Havana/Brown, Metallic Midnight Blue/Grey, Metallic Grey/Grey, and Metallic Camo Green/Grey-Green.

The Agent is a throwback style featuring classic lines, rich acetate frame material, medium sized lenses and a mixed bag of low-key and pop colors to ensure retro-freshness from sun up to sun down. Colors include (frame/lens): Gloss Black/Grey, White/Blue-Grey Gradient, Crystal/Grey Mirror Silver Gradient, Brown Havana/Brown, Yellow/Grey Gradient, and Orange/Grey Gradient.

The Defy sets a new standard in functional style with its clean rectangular shape, large lenses and classy metal temple accents and logo inlays. Colors include (frame/lens): Gloss Black/Grey, Matte Black/Green, Matte Black/Polarized Grey, Brown Havana/Brown, and Brown Havana/Polarized Brown.

Sleek lines, full-wrap styling, and a large square frame define the Snap. It also touts mold injected hinges and thick temples for maximum sun blockage, with inside-and-out metal temple logos for bonus style points. Colors include (frame/lens): Gloss Black/Grey, White/Grey Gradient, Brown Havana/Brown, Spotted Grey Havana/Grey, and Yellow Havana Flowers/Brown.

The full-wrap Wanted boasts a large angular frame with inside-out metal temple detailing and beefed up arms for ultimate defense against the blistering sun. Colors include (frame/lens): Matte Black/Grey, Gloss Black/Grey, Gloss Black/Polarized Grey, Brown Havana/Brown, and Brown Havana/Polarized Brown.
