Events kick off on the eastern Sydney beach 16 - 18 January, 2015

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 25 November, 2014 - The Carve Pro Junior and Ocean and Earth Teenage Rampage will return to Maroubra this upcoming January and will see some of Australia’s most talented surfers battling it out in hope of nabbing the prestigious title.
The three-day dual-events will kick off on the eastern Sydney beach from the 16th – 18th January, 2015.
As part of the 2015 Carve Pro Junior, 72 of the best male pro juniors from Australia and the world will fight it out for over $18,000 worth of prize money, giveaways and valuable ASP Junior Qualifying Series (JQS) points.
"We are so proud to bring the Carve Pro Junior to Maroubra, an event that showcases junior surfing in Australia. This is our second year of an event that we know will grow year-to-year,” said Carve owner Matt Whyte.
“This is a stepping off point for Australia’s finest young male surfers and prepares them to take on the world. We are more than stoked to bring this event to Maroubra,” said Carve Team Manager and former ASP World Championship Tour surfer Trent Munro.
This year will see the addition of a new webcast - proudly presented by Tracks Magazine – which will stream the event worldwide via
“The Ocean and Earth Teenage Rampage and The Carve Pro Junior have gone from strength to strength over the last few years,” said Surfing NSW CEO Mark Windon. “Over the summer months Maroubra transforms into a natural amphitheater filled with spectators. We simply pray the waves will come to the party like they have in previous years.”
The Ocean and Earth Teenage Rampage and The Carve Pro Junior will be the first major surfing events held at Maroubra since the 2014 events.
In 2013, the Ocean and Earth Teenage Rampage series was fine-tuned and compressed into an elite event that ran at Maroubra during the Christmas school holidays. 2015 will be no different and looks set to see some of Australia's most promising junior surfers partaking in the event.
