Pierre Agnes new CEO, McKnight takes chairman position
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 27 March, 2015 - Quiksilver announced today that CEO Andy Mooney and CFO Richard Shields are no longer with the company. Andy Mooney was CEO for two years then became chairman in November. No reason for his departure was given. CFO Richard Shields resigned to pursue other opportunities, the company said.
Company founder Bob McKnight will take over as chairman while President Pierre Agnes will take on the role of CEO in addition to taking a seat on the board. Thomas Chambolle, CFO for the EMEA region, will succeed Shields in the post, effective April 3.

Pierre Agnes has worked for Quiksilver for 27 years. In November 2014, he was promoted to President of Quiksilver, Inc. He previously served as Global Head of Apparel for Quiksilver, Roxy and DC. Since 2005 Pierre served as President of Quiksilver Europe.
