Dennis Jarvis Revokes Spyder Surfboards License

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 26 April, 2006 : - - In a move to reconfigure Spyder Surfboards product line and strategy in the market place, Dennis Jarvis, CEO/President of Spyder Surfboards Corp. has revoked the license contract from the former glassing shop.

Although, Dennis was involved on all aspects of the design and quality of the product line for the past 5 years, Jarvis, with his partner Richard O'Reilly was growing the retail portion of the business.

"Now that our newest store is almost completed, (the new 8000 sq foot store at the Hermosa Pier Plaza,) I feel it is best to reorganize our biz model and focus on what makes us unique, quality surfboards and repositioning our line with a new look, new designs and a new marketing strategy, quality and performance is still our main goal." says Jarvis.

He also tells us he will have much more foam dust on him as he will over see every board that leaves the new Redondo Beach, 3500 sq foot shaping / Airbrush facility.
