Australian shaper expands empire for Euro distribution

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 10 December, 2013 - DHD Surfboards officially opened their new surfboard factory in Portugal. The new factory will make boards for both the public and team riders with the same blanks and shaping machine that the DHD factory in Australia uses.

"At DHD Surfboards Europe we are using the same machine as in the Australian factory, the APS 3000, the same surfboards blanks (South Coast blanks), the same cloth and the same type of tools. Therefore, we make sure we offer the same quality in our surfboards worldwide," said a DHD spokesperson.

"With the new factory all our team riders and customers can customise their boards in Europe, Australia and USA and have exactlly the same quality in their surfboards as they do in Australia."
