Play it Safe by the Water Surfing for Girls gets backing from Dragon

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 22 November, 2013 - Dragon Eyewear has come onboard to support female surfing in a support sponsorship of the Play it Safe by the Water Surfing for Girls Presented by Ghanda.

The female participation program which is in its 14th year, covers 9 beaches across the state teaching girls valuable water safety skills whilst having fun surfing with former Top 10 surfer Bec Woods (Copacabana, NSW) and local girls India Payne (Phillip Island) and Jess Laing (Phillip Island).

Surfing Victoria CEO, Max Wells, is pleased to have the support of the surf industry in grass roots participation.

Zoe Neilson, Dragon South Pacific Marketing Manager is looking forward to developing a partnership and connection with the communities across the state.

"We are really excited to support the Surfing for Girls Program as it's creating a friendly and encouraging environment for females from all over Victoria to progress their surfing skills."

Each location will have a pair of Dragon Sunglasses to give away to a participant. Girls can register at the Surfing Victoria website.

The Play it Safe by the Water Surfing for Girls is Presented by Ghanda and Supported by Dragon, Team Up, Cancer Council Sunscreen and Be the Influence.
