SURFING'S 30 YEARS OF SOUL
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 17 June, 2005 : - - Please come join us for an exhibition of some classic surf photography spanning a period of 30 years.?
The show features the work of surf photographers Bernie Baker, Craig Fineman and Rick Doyle. It also showcases the acrylic on canvas work of Pipeline Master and pop artist Jonathan Damm.
Bernie Baker's collection of work features images that have not been on exhibition in over 25 years.?Shots feature Eddie Aikau, Gerry Lopez, Rory Russell, Mark Richards, and Larry Bertleman in their prime, as well as some of his recently shot material.
Craig Fineman passed away several years ago and this is the first viewing by the public of a select set of his timeless images.
Doyle's work contains a variety of images shot over a 25 year period that have never been on public display. They include shots from his surfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, hollywood movie stunt and NFL sports photography career.??
Some of his images are available as Giclee's in limited editions.Jonathan Damm's paintings fuse pop, modern, abstract, and surrealism and make for a visually intriguing and unique and aesthetic experience.
This show is a must see for the serious surf art collector.
