The JW side fin template has a very neutral sweep value, moderate-to-long base length, and a slightly pointed tip. This versatile and well balanced template offers a consistent feel in small to medium size waves.
The centre fin has a very low sweep value of just 31°, and in comparison to the side fins is almost 10% smaller in area. For this reason, the JW template offers great tail release.
Julian’s fin is ideal for fast, radical surfing in punchy beach break conditions. Offering quick tail release due to the smaller centre fin, this dynamic thruster set is also great for performing airs, with an emphasis on fast rotation.
The sharp leading edge combined with a flat foil on the side fins allow surfers to turn in a very tight radius in the steepest parts of the wave.
Machine cut from layered fiberglass, Performance Glass (PG) fins have a rigid, highly responsive flex pattern that's isolated towards the tip of the fin. These fins have remarkable memory properties, and are widely used by pro level surfers because the integrity of the flex is maintained under immense force, and in the most extreme of conditions and situations.
