Silvana Lima on a winning roll with FCS

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 15 October, 2009 : - - Silvana Lima has positioned herself as a World Title contender with stunning back-to-back victories at the Rip Curl Women’s Pro at Bells Beach, followed by the Beachley Classis held at Dee Why Beach in Sydney last week. Silvana contributes part of her recent success to having great equipment including her preferred set of FCS fins; the FCS AM-2 PC.

In both events Lima dominated in the challenging conditions and showed just why she is currently being hailed as one of the most progressive surfers on the women’s tour. Riding her trusty FCS AM-2 PC fins, Lima dazzled the opposition with new school airs and tail throws, combined with rail gouging power carves.

Following her recent success Lima commented, “I am very happy to win another World Tour event and to have people support me with positive energy.

The FCS AM-2 PC is a smaller version of Al Merrick’s original template featuring Inside Foil Technology (IFT) and a smaller centre fin offering quick release. Performance Core (PC) material is designed to deliver the feeling of a traditional glass fin with the added performance of reduced weight.

Lima went on to say, “Thank you for the support and great equipment, I love the FCS AM-2 and I'm going all out for Portugal”. Lima now has her sights set on the winning the next event in Portugal and catching current ratings leader Steph Gilmore. FCS Would like to wish all the surfers on the women’s ASP Tour the best of luck for a thrilling title race.
