World of X Games airs waterman history, heritage program

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 15 August, 2014 - This weekend, the World of X Games show will trace back the history of the Hawaiian Islands, big wave surfing culture and some of the rising stars of the new generation. The top watermen featured include big wave surfing legends Laird Hamilton and Shane Dorian, young gun John John Florence, and the music and surfing of Donavon Frankenreiter in addition to the stories of The Duke, Kai Lenny, Paige Alms and Mark Healy. The program will also dive into the Watermen League and the role all watermen have in keeping the ocean safe.

Tune into World of X Games this Saturday, August 16 at 4:30 p.m. ET on ABC for a new episode highlighting some of the most respected watermen on the planet who call Hawaii home.
