Harley Ingleby Longboard Camp to run at the Hurley HPC

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 23 February, 2015 - Current World Longboard Champion Harley Ingleby will offer world class coaching at the Harley Ingleby Longboard Camp at the Hurley Surfing Australia High Performance Centre (HPC) in Casuarina, as part of the Longboard Surfing Festival of the Asia Pacific.

The elite surfing experience is an opportunity not just for elite longboarders but anyone who wants to improve their surfing ability.  The camp will run from 21-23 March at the Hurley Surfing Australia HPC.

2014 & 2009 World Longboard Champion, Harley Ingleby, will provide participants with cutting-edge skills to gain an advantage over their rivals.  Participants’ passion for the sport will be fired up with personalised contest strategies, training programs, diet advice and surfing techniques.

The Hurley Surfing Australia HPC was designed in consultation with the Australian Institute of Sport and features state of the art education facilities, surf specific gymnasium, testing and treatment room, auditorium and onsite accommodation.

“This clinic will help improve everyone from the casual weekend surfer looking to impress those on the beach to those looking to get better competition results” says Sean McKeown, Event Director of the Australian Longboard Surfing Open (ALSO), being held from 26-30 March in Kingscliff.

The ALSO features a WSP pro-competition and five days of surfing lifestyle events.  Interested competitors can enter the WSP Longboard Qualifying Series (LQS) for Pro Men & Pro Women, amateur divisions and SUP surfing.  The festival is located in the world-class surfing destination of Kingscliff, only 10 minutes drive from Snapper Rocks.
