Walk on water was a day long workshop everyday drawing people of all the ages and gender. There was no surprise when people found it easy to learn that they also let their young ones experience the amazing connection a human can have by being so close to water, listening to the soothing ripples and inhale the freshness in the air.

The experts from London who are promoting the sports in UK under the name of Active360 took charge of educating the Indian crowd the effective way of Paddle Boarding thereby letting them get lost in the most exotic experience one can have at the pristine location of Ramachandi beach.

India SUP Cup, which was organized for the third time in a row at India Surf Festival, has emerged as the biggest and the only SUP race of the Indian Subcontinent. The race witnesses some of the best paddling prodigies from India who have been unknowingly practicing it all throughout their life when they go fishing on their heavy wooden boats battling the rough waves in the ocean. They kind of put the challenge to every paddler in the world.

Needless to say, when you are in India Surf festival, you get to see a lot of actions from the Blue Bay of Bengal where the surfers had the ride of their life maneuvering on waves along with the brothers from the other parts of India which owns a huge coastline.

With active involvement of the Sponsor Sonata Super Fiber Ocean Series watches, India saw one of its finest event in the history, named as Surf Expressions which witnessed the stupendous participation from all over the world too.

A description about Adventure at India Surf Festival is incomplete without the mention of breathtaking stunts by the Kite surfer from South Africa Hughues scheers Da hui representing  Vanhunks and the Longboard Crew India from Mumbai who conducted a street workshop for the guests to enable them understand the basics of skateboarding.

While the Art zone invited guests to paint their imagination and display their splendid pieces, the music and the performances by the unconventional artists like Thaalavattam which is a percussion-based project by Montry Manuel, who uses instruments created from waste plastic and metal with the aim to inspire people to think creatively about waste.

His instruments are mainly created from reused paint cans, soda cans, PVC pipes etc. mimicking the street drummers. Work in Progress and Jupiter Island left everyone spell bound with their amazing skills of striking the right strings which helped creating the best and the most mesmerizing rock performance at ISF

All of this was supplemented with the rich traditional art by the world renowned sand artist Mr. Manmohan and jaw dropping postural Folk Dance performance by young kids disguised as women. It was one of those performances where the clapping by the viewers never actually stopped during the whole act.

India Surf Festival ended on a note with a promise to bring back more of awesomeness into the adventure and action in the next edition with a lot more focus on utilizing the Eco- friendly ways of installation and decoration.

Plantation Drive and Clean the Beach were the prominent activities where participants themselves took the charge this year and while enjoying the festival joined hands to simultaneously clean up the whole venue which helped spread the message of co-existential harmony with nature and inspiring others to adopt the similar low impact methods.   Aloha!!
