Girlfriend of missing Aussie vows to finish surf trip

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 1 December, 2015 - The burned out van found by the side of the road in Sinaloa Mexico has been confirmed by a Mexican official as being the van driven by missing Australians Dean Lucas and Adam Coleman, according to a report by 9News.

Josie Cox, partner of Dean Lucas took to Facebook to post that she will finish the duo’s trip. "Doing what he would have wanted, finishing his surf trip off. See you at the ocean," Ms Cox wrote on her Facebook page today. She is working with local authorities in Mexico as well.

DNA testing on the two charred bodies found inside the van is continuing. Adam Coleman's partner Ms Gomez has given police one of Mr Coleman's dreadlocks to aid in the DNA identification process.

The two, both 33 years old haven't been seen since November 20 when they took a ferry from Baja Mexico to Guadalajara.

Loved ones are holding out hope and have launched a GoFundMe page here.

The page reads, in part: Family members of Dean Lucas and Adam Coleman will be travelling to Mexico in the coming days and working with the Australian consular officials and Mexican Authorities. They ask for privacy during this enormously difficult time.
