Pauline Ado, also known as Popo by her friends and family, can be credited with putting European women’s surfing on the map. At 15 years old, Pauline won the 2006 ISA World Games, defeating Sally Fitzgibbons in the final. Pauline made history by bringing home the first ISA world title for France, but she didn't stop there. Her strong surfing earned her an ASP World Junior Title in 2008, as well as high results in the qualifying series. She joined the world’s elite women on tour in 2010, finishing in the top 10 during her rookie season.
