Quiksilver teams up with Talenthouse to work with art students

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 30 September, 2014 - Quiksilver has decided to dip its name into the art & design world by launching an open invitation to visual artists worldwide with the help of Los Angeles- based Talenthouse , giving artists the chance to create a textile print design for Quiksilver, Roxy and DC.

Three artists will be selected by the panel of judges who represent Quiksilver's key design decision-makers including Co-Founder Bob McKnight.  The three selected designs will be printed onto garments created for all three brands while using Talenthouse as the facilitating technology platform for the initiative.
Students from Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles’ premiere art school; will be assisting in applying the designs to garments at Talenthouse, creating a range of products for each brand. The prints will be shown during the school’s prestigious annual Scholarship Benefit Show in May, and featured as the backdrop during the show.
