Guadeloupe's Tim Bisso competes at Bells for the first time and triumphs
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 22 March, 2016 - Friday Media & Management surfer Timothé Bisso from Guadeloupe has won the trials and qualified for the main event at the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach 2016 (March 24th - April 5th).
“I am over the moon!”, says Tim. “It’s my first time to Bells, but I feel really good out here. Kekoa Bacalso just told me to smash it, so I did and it worked out. I can’t believe it! It will be such an honour to surf against the best in the world. I can’t wait!”
Tim Bisso, who was runner up at the WSL World Junior Championships in Ericeira in January this year, is the first ever surfer from the island of Guadeloupe to qualify for a World Surf League event.
