Vans/Surf Diva All-girls Boarding School scheduled for July
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 13 May, 2010 : - - La Jolla, California -- Surf Diva Surf School is stoked to announce the Vans/Surf Diva All-girls Boarding School® coming up this July 25-31, 2010. Featured in 2008 on MTVs hit show, Made, Surf Divas Boarding School® attracts teens from all over the country for an empowering and memorable surf adventure at the most pristine beach in California, La Jolla Shores.
Along with special Vans goodies that each camper will receive, Vans-sponsored Surfer Leila Hurst, one of the worlds top junior surfers, will make a special guest appearance to offer coaching tips and display her world-class surfing skills.
The Vans/Surf Diva Boarding School® is an all-inclusive surf camp with meals, lodging, surf instruction, surf equipment, and of course, the famous pink Betty Bus to shuttle campers to the beach! Evening activities include beach bonfires, a surf movie night, a talent show, shopping, mani-pedis, and local San Diego events and festivals.
We love the mix of surf, fashion and action that Surf Diva brings to their Surf Boarding School, says Chris Overholser, Senior Communications Manager at Vans. This surf camp is a great chance for us to spread the love of surfing to girls from across the country.

The camp is based at the famous University of California, San Diego campus, a surf mecca for the top collegiate surfers in the US, atop the cliffs overlooking the legendary Blacks Beach. In addition to the overnight camp, there will also be a day surf option open for local teens who would love to join during the day. The day surf option is $575, which includes 2 surf sessions per day, all equipment for the week, and lunch daily. The overnight camp option is $1485 and includes lodging, three meals a day, ground transportation, and fun activities.
