Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 4 March, 2015 - The first NZ Surf Mag to hit the shelves in 2015 kicks off with a anniversary celebration of an epic 30 years of being a massive part of surfing in NZ. Over several generations of riders we have presented and preserved the stoke of what it means to be a kiwi surfer.

The Adventures, our waves, our achievements, the laughs and good times of the culture and the evolvement of our sport over these years. Starting this issue and for all six issues this 30th year we will feature those faces and places that moulded this magazine and this sport to where it stands today.

The 30th Anniversary issue features:
On the COVER we are proud to feature Dunedin lad Leroy Rust gunning into the realm of Jaws on the Hawaiian Island of Maui, a wave that only three years ago was considered impossible to paddle surf. Leroy went in search of the biggest challenge of his life so far and found it! On January the 22nd Leroy made his way out into the ferocious Jaws lineup, sitting shoulder to shoulder with the worlds elite big wave surfers and at the same time became the first kiwi surfer to paddle surf JAWS.
