Good weather and surf forecast for Camp Shred

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 24 February, 2016 - Camp Shred, the world’s largest surf demo, presented by Surfing Magazine and Surf Ride with support from Rinse Kit, returns to San Elijo Campground in Cardiff this weekend (February 27-28, 2016).

Sunny 70-plus degree weather and clean four-to-five-foot waves have been forecasted for the annual family-friendly event.

Try before you buy wetsuits, surfboards and other new surf gear from the industry’s best.  Complete list here:

The festival grounds will also feature a music stage hosted by Chris Cote. 2016 bands include Almost Monday, Soul Juice, Triceratropical, Dano Forte’s Juke Joint Freak Show, and the Red Fox Tails. See the full schedule here:

The God Save the Cuisine food truck will keep the troops fed and the ever-popular Saint Archer Brewery beer garden will keep everyone fed, hydrated and happy.

The free and open to the public demo will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Proceeds from the beer garden will benefit California State Parks, specifically the Friends of Cardiff and Carlsbad State Beaches. For updates, details, directions and more,

Camp Shred wouldn’t be possible without it’s generous sponsors and partners.  Big thanks to Surf Ride, SURFING Magazine, Rinse Kit and Saint Archer Brewing Company for their support.
