Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 9 August, 2012 : - - Loosely based around the question of 'when does the tourist become a traveler?' Doc filmmaker John Lynch sets out to Indonesia on a solo cinematography mission. Looking for something more fulfilling and lured by perfect surf he ends up in remote Sumatra where he meets Alex and Eeva - hardcore travelers who share the idea that helping people in need makes life and the gift of surfing much more rewarding.
 
Receiving over 45,000 + full views since it's maiden launch on vimeo - ABROAD has stirred legit debate over neo-colonialism and garnered praise, tears and cheers from the international community.
