Champions Crowned At Bradnamís Windows & Doors Agnes Water Surfing Festival

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 1 April, 2012 : - - Agnes Water, Queensland - Queensland longboarding stalwart Glenn Cunningham (Bargara, Qld) has added another piece of silverware to his mantle piece after claiming back-to-back Open Men Longboard titles at the 2012 Bradnamís Windows & Doors Agnes Water Surfing Festival.
Held in reeling 0.5-1m waves on Agnes Water Point, Cunningham  got off to flying start after registering a 7.50 (out of a possible 10) ride on his first wave of the decider, before holding off a late charge from Yeppoonís Rob Farrell to take the crown.
Finishing on a combined two-wave heat score of 10.93 points (out of a possible 20) Cunningham pipped Farrell by less than half a point as Farrell fell agonisingly close on 10.80 points, with Clinton Farlow (Bargara, Qld - 9.87)  and Kahn Harrison (Agnes Water, Qld Ė 6.80) finishing third and fourth respectively.

Noosaís Shannon Neil (12.20) claimed the Open Menís Shortboard division in a blistering display of surfing ahead of a trio of Bargara surfers in Ed Cunningham (10.90), Eion Whatley (9.93) and David Hohn (5.67) who finished second to fourth respectively.

Running from March 31 Ė April 1, the annual Bradnamís Windows & Doors Agnes Water Surfing Festival is the only one of its kind in the Discovery Coast region with champions crowned across nine different divisions.
